The new complex will be located at the crossroads of Nezavisimosti Ave. and Filimonova Str., close to the National Library of Belarus. The complex will include nine modern buildings of different heights that will be integrated in the urban environment and will complement the existing residential development.
The development will be dominated by a 36-storey building (189 m.) which will accommodate «Gazprom transgaz Belarus» and other «Gazprom Group» companies located in Minsk. The complex will also include 4 «Class A» office buildings which will host 5.500 people. In addition to modern office buildings, the complex will include a hotel, conference center, retail area, 11 restaurants and cafes and a spacious underground parking.
Much attention will be paid to social infrastructure. The complex will have a multidisciplinary medical center, modern sports center and a children’s development center which will receive up to 200 visitors a day. All these facilities will be available for city residents.
The space between the multifunctional development and Nezavisimosti Ave. will accommodate a park with a unique landscape designed for rest and leisure of city residents and visitors. The complex will have an amphitheatre which will be surrounded by fountains and will be used for concerts and festivals. In winter time the area will be used as a skating rink.
The complex will have its own reliable energy source which will help to avoid additional loads on the city utilities. If required, spare power will be used for the needs of the neighbouring districts.
The completion of construction is scheduled for 2018.
«Gazprom center» will give a more dynamic and modern look to the capital of Belarus. It will become a natural fit for Minsk architecture and a convenient business hub. The complex will have all kinds of amenities for rest and leisure. I am certain that it will become a favourite part of the city for both city residents and visitors», said Alexey Miller, Chairman of «Gazprom» Management Committee.
Future cooperation between Belarus and «Gazprom Group» was discussed during a working meeting between Alexander Lukashenko and Alexey Miller.
